    L’EIT et les Communautés de la Connaissance et de l’Innovation représentent un instrument nouveau et différent dans sa philosophie et ses objectifs par rapport aux outils de financement existants. Les projets ayant débuté en 2010, le recul est insuffisant pour faire un bilan détaillé du système. Pour rappel également, les 3 KICs (Communautés de la Connaissance et de l’Innovation) existantes ont tant des objectifs que des modes d’organisation différents, dans les thématiques abordées et dans le potentiel en matière d’impact sociétal et économique.
